Hotel Sheets Versus Regular Sheets
Hotel sheets are known for being soft, comfortable, and cozy. What are hotels doing to make their sheets feel so much better? Hospitality sheets are often treated with special finishes to ensure a soft, cool, crisp sleep experience. The hotel bed sheet finish also ensures that the bedsheets are more wrinkle-resistant, which makes the sheets look more elegant upon guest arrival, as well as saves time and labor costs for housekeeping in terms of having to of iron the guest sheets.

Hotel Sheet Fabrics
Different fabric blends are utilized to meet different needs. Hotel sheets are usually either 100% cotton sheets or a cotton-polyester blend bed sheet. Twisting strands of cotton and polyester together creates small pockets which makes the sheets more breathable and increases airflow, thus ensuring the hotel sheets stay cooler and don't make the guests overheat or sweat. Cotton is already a very breathable fabric. It helps keep the sleeper cool in warm weather, and keep warm in cold weather. Cotton is durable, gets softer after every wash, and is easy to maintain. However, they do tend to wrinkle more than other fabrics. The big upside to cotton-polyester blend sheets is that they are less prone to wrinkles and static post-dry cycle, which can make maintenance easier. Higher end hotels utilize Egyptian cotton sheets or even bamboo bedsheets to ensure the best guest experience and create a more luxe feel.

Customer Testimonial

"I switched to a 55/45 sheet blend for my guest rooms and love how I don't have to iron the sheets as much anymore. Still feel soft, but just less maintenance for me."
