Can I wear the S19 vest for highway or roadway work?

No, the S19 should not be used for roadway or highway work because it is non-ANSI and lacks reflective striping. OSHA-regulated traffic environments require an ANSI Class 2 or Class 3 vest instead. The S19 is intended for visitor identification, promotions and low-risk indoor or warehouse settings.

What size is the S19 vest and how does it fasten?

The S19 is one-size-fits-most, adjusting through its hook-and-loop front closure and elastic side straps. This makes it easy to share across a team or hand out at an event. Direct Textile Store offers it by the piece.

Does the S19 safety vest have any pockets?

No, the S19 has no pockets; it is a clean, lightweight identification vest. It closes with a hook-and-loop (Velcro) front and has durable elastic side straps for a secure fit.

What colors does the S19 Non ANSI vest come in?

The S19 is available in Hi-Viz Orange and Hi-Viz Lime. Both are bright fluorescent shades for daytime visibility, though as a non-ANSI vest it carries no reflective tape.

Why is the S19 vest called a tight weave, and is it good for screen printing?

Yes, the S19 uses a tight-knit 100% polyester tricot construction that creates a smooth, dense surface ideal for screen printing logos and company names. This is what sets it apart from open-mesh vests, which are harder to print cleanly. Direct Textile Store sells the S19 blank so it can be decorated for your crew or event.

Is the ERB Safety S19 Tight Weave Safety Vest ANSI 107 compliant?

No, the S19 is a non-ANSI safety vest and does not meet ANSI/ISEA 107 because it has no reflective striping. It is a bright high-visibility identification vest best suited to visitor ID, events, warehouses and light-duty tasks rather than roadway work zones. For roadway-compliant gear, Direct Textile Store also stocks reflective ANSI Class 2 safety vests .
