Where do these underpads ship from?

These American Dawn reusable incontinence underpads ship from Atlanta, Georgia, typically same day to within 48 hours. The Atlanta stocking location supports quick reorders for facilities that cycle pads through laundering. Direct Textile Store posts estimated shipping transit times on the product page.

Do these underpads have a waterproof backing?

Yes, each underpad has a waterproof vinyl backing that blocks fluid from reaching the mattress or bed linens underneath. The vinyl barrier is paired with the absorbent 95% polyester / 5% rayon center soaker so fluid is captured and contained. Direct Textile Store offers the barrier in pink, tan, green, and blue.

Are these underpads good for nursing homes and assisted living?

Yes, these reusable 95/5 poly-rayon soaker underpads are designed for healthcare use in hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities that reprocess linens through commercial laundry. The waterproof vinyl barrier protects mattresses while the washable soaker cuts recurring disposable costs. They pair well with reusable draw sheets for a complete patient bedding setup from Direct Textile Store.

Can I order a sample before buying a full case?

Yes, Direct Textile Store offers a single-piece sample of these American Dawn reusable underpads so facilities can evaluate the top-face fabric, soaker weight, and barrier before ordering full cases. Sampling helps confirm the pad fits your beds and laundry process. Cases of 24 and 48 are available once you select your configuration.

How many underpads come in a case?

These reusable underpads are sold in cases of 24 or 48 pieces, so facilities can order the volume that matches their patient census and laundry rotation. Buying by the case keeps per-pad cost low for bulk institutional use. Direct Textile Store also offers a single sample piece for evaluation before committing to a case.

What top-face fabrics can I choose?

The top face is available in 80/20 white Ibex, a heavyweight 50/50 twill, and a wheelchair plaid 50/50 twill, letting you match the contact surface to patient comfort and durability needs. The top face wicks fluid down into the 95/5 poly-rayon center soaker. Direct Textile Store pairs these top faces with your chosen vinyl barrier.

What bottom barrier options are available on these underpads?

These underpads come with a waterproof vinyl bottom barrier in pink, tan, green, or blue, which prevents fluid from passing through to the mattress. The color-coded vinyl backing also lets facilities distinguish weights or sizes at a glance. Direct Textile Store stocks all four barrier colors.

What soaker weights are available?

The center soaker is offered in weights ranging from 6.5 oz up to 9 oz, with heavier soakers providing greater fluid capacity for moderate-to-heavy incontinence. Higher soaker weight means more absorbent fill in the center panel. Direct Textile Store lets you match the soaker weight to your facility's absorbency needs.

What sizes do these incontinence underpads come in?

These reusable underpads are available in 30 x 36, 34 x 34, and 34 x 36 inch sizes to fit standard hospital and long-term-care beds. The larger footprint provides coverage around the patient's target zone to protect the mattress and sheeting. Direct Textile Store lists each size paired with its corresponding soaker weight.

Are these underpads reusable and washable?

Yes, these are reusable, washable bed underpads built to withstand commercial healthcare laundry cycles, unlike disposable pads. The 95% polyester / 5% rayon center soaker retains absorbency wash after wash, lowering per-use cost for facilities. Direct Textile Store supplies them in bulk cases for institutional laundering programs.

What is the center soaker made of on these reusable underpads?

The center soaker on these American Dawn reusable incontinence underpads is a 95% polyester / 5% rayon blend engineered to absorb and hold fluid while pulling moisture away from the top surface. This poly/rayon soaker construction is designed for repeated commercial laundering in healthcare settings. Direct Textile Store stocks them for hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
