The wide leg cut for petite frames — a 28 1/2 inch inseam against the regular 31, proportioned through the leg rather than shortened at the hem. That matters more on a wide leg than any other cut, because taking three inches off the bottom narrows the hem and loses the shape entirely.

In Pursuit is the only Careismatic line cut from nylon — 79% nylon and 21% spandex, where the rest of the range is polyester or a poly-rayon blend. Nylon is the more abrasion-resistant fibre, so it holds up to the rubbing a shift actually puts on a scrub: bed rails, chair arms, a badge reel at the hip. With a fifth of the cloth in spandex it still moves in every direction and recovers its shape.
