On a wide leg the inseam does more work than on any other cut. Too long and the hem drags and frays; too short and it stops looking like a trouser and starts looking like a culotte. Neither is a hemming job, because shortening a wide leg changes its proportion completely.
Both lengths run an elastic waistband with a drawstring, angled slit front pockets, cargo pockets on both legs and a back patch.
