A real zip fly, not a mock one, over an elastic waistband with outer waist ties. That combination is unusual: most joggers give you one or the other, and the zip is what lets the waistband sit comfortably without the pant relying on the drawstring to stay closed.

Med Couture calls this Touch Performance Fabric — 76% polyester, 21% rayon and 3% spandex. The rayon is what gives it the soft, relaxed hand of cotton while the polyester and spandex do the work: it moves, it recovers, and it comes through commercial laundering without going limp.
