The shirttail is the point: an elongated tail cut to be worn untucked, so it stays covering when you bend or reach rather than riding up at the back. Overlapping rib-knit side panels run down each side in a stretch knit instead of the body fabric, so the top follows the waist through a shift.

Med Couture calls this Touch Performance Fabric — 76% polyester, 21% rayon and 3% spandex. The rayon is what gives it the soft, relaxed hand of cotton while the polyester and spandex do the work: it moves, it recovers, and it comes through commercial laundering without going limp. It is the reason this line reads as comfortable rather than clinical.
